Culinary Arts & Hospitality is a semester course that provides the opportunity to explore the basic fundamentals and principles of the art of cooking and the science of baking, as well as opportunities to explore and experience the hospitailty and tourism industry, which includes restaurants, catering and food and beverage service.

The purpose of this course is to give the student an isndie view into the development and coping skills necessary to function efficently and effectively in society on a personal, social, family and career level.
Areas covered are food preparation, fitness and nutrition; the care of children and the workings of family; personal finance, budgeting and wise consumerism.
