Principal

I am excited and proud to join the Bailey Middle School community as principal.I joined Austin ISD in 2022 and bring 18 years of experience in public education, including roles as a teacher, campus administrator, and district leader in both Florida and Texas. The majority of my career has been at the middle school level, including 13 years as an English teacher and campus administrator.

During my time in Austin ISD, I have supported the development of current and aspiring administrators at the district level and most recently served as the Academy Director at Akins Early College High School. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English from Southern Methodist University and a Master’s in Educational Administration from Lamar University. I am passionate about collaborating with others to create and sustain school environments where students feel seen, heard, and empowered to make a positive impact in their communities

When not with the Bear Family,  I love being with my twin boys who are 9th graders within the district. We love to spend time at Lady Bird  Lake and Zilker Park. In addition, we love music, sports, and concerts.

I am extremely excited to be at Bailey Middle School. My goal is to support  students with their academic, social, and personal goals. GO BEARS !
