PTA Screening of "Screenagers"

Bailey PTA and Baranoff PTA are jointly sponsoring and holding a pair of documentary screenings helping parents, students and teachers become ever-more aware of our students growing up in the digital age. This first documentary focuses on how pre-teens and teens use social media and the second one will focus on how that use impacts their mental and emotional health. The first screening is on Tuesday, March 1st at Baranoff Elementary at 6:00 pm.

When: Tuesday, March 1 at 6:00pm in the Baranoff Cafegymatorium

Who: All parents, guardians and subject material is appropriate for older elementary and all middle school students.

Cost: FREE

Musical Theatre Presents "Peter Pan"

Bailey Theatre invites you to join the Lost Boys and never grow up when our students perform Peter Pan JR. Based on J.M. Barrie's enchanting play, Peter Pan, Peter Pan JR. is a modern version of the timeless tale about the adventures of a mischievous boy. In Peter Pan JR. Wendy, Michael and John Darling meet and befriend Peter Pan when the mysterious boy and a fairy named Tinker Bell enter their nursery in search of Peter’s lost shadow. Peter whisks his new friends away to Neverland, an island with “hardly any space between one adventure and the other.”

Neverland Cast performs on the 3rd and the 5th at 6:30pm; Londontown Cast performs on the 4th at 6:30pm and the 5th at 2:30pm. Tickets are $5 through School Cash Online and $7 at the door.

Sports Update

The First Round of the Boys Basketball Playoffs Begin on Monday at Bailey. Bailey 7A team will play Murchison at 6:00 pm and Bailey 8A will play Lamar at 7:00 pm.

Girls and Boys Track Tryouts will begin on March 7th. More information will be coming soon.

CATCH Night

Mark your calendars for the First Annual CATCH Night Fun Run at Bailey Middle School! Students, parents, and all community members are welcome to join Bailey Students and staff as they compete in the first ever Fun Run! The event will be held on Thursday, March 31st. There will be healthy snacks, drinks, swag as well as prizes for our top runners in each division!
