Track - Parent Meeting
Parent meeting for track will be Tuesday, March 22nd at 5:30pm in the cafeteria. Track shirts will be available to purchase from the athletic booster club for $20 each.
Volunteers Needed! Bailey will be hosting two track meets on April 14 and 21 from approximately 5-9pm. If you are willing and able to help judge a field event, time the runners or help get students to and from their events please email Coach Brown at lara.brown@austinisd.org.
Celebrate Pride Week
The week after Spring Break is Austin ISD's Pride Week. We will be celebrating Bailey as a safe, supportive, and inclusive school community by having theme days and creating a school wide poster during lunches on Tuesday and Thursday. Students will be invited to write positive affirmations to add to the poster. The theme days will focus on the different colors of the rainbow and are listed below. -Thanks for your support!!!
Monday - Wear red to encourage heartfelt kindness.
Tuesday - Wear orange because “orange” we all special.
Wednesday - Wear green to show your pride for yourself and our planet.
Thursday - Wear yellow and let your positivity and inner light shine.
Friday - Wear blue to show your true-blue support for everyone in our Bailey Bears family!
Healthy Food Options During Spring Break
With many AISD students living in food-insecure households, access to healthy food may be challenging when the district is closed. Families can use the community resources below to find free meals in their area while AISD offices and schools are closed for Spring Break:
