Registration for the 2022-2023 School Year is open now!

This link takes you to the registration link. You will need to sign in to the portal using your login information. If you have forgotten your password, please call 512.414.1726 to have AISD reset your password.

Once you have logged in, please find the following icon and click:

You will then find your students name and complete the registration process.

If you do not have access to a computer or you can't register online using your phone, you can come to the school and register here. We will loan you a laptop and you can log in and fill out the forms right here in the main office. Our clerks will be available to help you, if needed.

STAAR Testing Information

We will begin our STAAR testing sessions next week:

STAAR testing dates are as follows:

May 5^th Science

May 6^th Social Studies

May 10^th Math 6-8 and 7^th graders taking the 8^th grade math test

May 11th Reading 6-8

May 12th Algebra EOC

Please be reminded of the following.

WHAT TO BRING:

CHROMEBOOKS - Students must bring their fully charged AISD-issued Chromebook and charger with them to the test, as all STAAR exams are administered through a secure online platform that can only be accessed using an AISD device. Bailey has a limited number of loaner Chromebooks to make available to students who do not have an AISD-issued Chromebook or are experiencing technical problems. Students who need to use a loaner Chromebook should inform the teacher when they arrive at the test site.

LUNCH - Lunches will occur as normal, no alteration will be made to the lunch schedule.

BOOK - Students should bring a book to read after the exam. Note that per testing security protocols, students cannot work on homework or access any digital devices, including e-readers, while other students are still testing.

MISCELLANEOUS - Students are also encouraged to bring a bottle of water and dress in comfortable layers.

Students may not have any electronic devices in their testing classes with the exception of their aisd issued chromebooks.

Please make sure student get a good nights rest, breakfast the morning of testing and that they arrive at school on time.

ACCOMMODATIONS: Students receiving special education or 504 services, or who are identified as having limited English proficiency, will be provided the STAAR testing accommodations indicated in their personalized plan. These accommodations have been recently double-checked for accuracy by staff. A student with "extra time" as a testing accommodation will have until 3:50 PM to complete the assessment.

RESULTS: STAAR scores will be available to all parents via Parent-Self Serve in the AISD Portal by June 21, 2022.

Yearbook Information

The 2021-2022 Yearbooks are sold out! We may have extras to sell on distribution day which will be held on Wednesday, May 18th before school. Send your child with cash or a check for $40. After that day it will be $45. It will be on a first come first serve basis. Thank you to those who purchased a yearbook on-line,

Rising 7th Grade Immunization Information

Students need a booster Tdap within the last 5 years and Meningococcal (MCV4). If your student has received these vaccinations already, please provide proof to the health room. If your student needs the vaccinations, please send updated vaccination records upon completion. The records can be dropped off at school, faxed to 512-414-5434, or emailed to teri.grossman@austinisd.org.

Bailey Volleyball Camp

All incoming 7th Grade girls:

On May 17th, 18th, and 19th, we will be having a volleyball camp for anyone interested in playing volleyball next year. In order to participate, you will need to complete a physical form (blue form given out in PE classes) and turn it in to Coach Fuhrman by the camp start date. The camp will be an introduction to practices at Bailey and introduce some of our terminology and techniques that will be taught next school year.

Students will need to come dressed in athletic wear and sneakers, knee pads are recommended if you have them. A full water bottle with their name on it is needed as well. Camp will be from 6:30-8 AM on those days and they must be dropped off in the bus loop and will walk to the courtyard door. Bailey Football Camp

On May 17th, 18th, and 19th, we we will be having a football camp for anyone interested in playing football at Bailey next year. In order to participate, you will need to complete a physical form (can be picked up from a coach) and turn it in to Coach Guerra or Coach Avila by the camp start date. The camp will be an introduction to practices at Bailey and introduce dome of our terminology and techniques that will be taught next school year.

Students will need to be dressed in a grey shirt and black shorts (PE Clothes are acceptable) and clears are recommended. A full water bottle with their name on it is needed as well. Camp will be from 4-5:30 pm each day. Students must be picked up by 5:30 pm near the tennis courts.
