  • Are the classes on my verification sheet what will be on my schedule?
    • While we try our best to accommodate all course requests, the Course Verification is not your student's final schedule and may change due to scheduling constraints.
  • When will I get my final schedule?
    • You will receive your final schedule on the first day of school.
  • What do you mean by “scheduling constraints”?
    • The master schedule is developed based on student requests received in the spring. Courses are created based on spring schedule requests and faculty availability and certification, so it may not be possible to make “Change of Mind” requests.
  • There is an elective on my verification sheet that I do not recognize. What class is it?
    • Some electives have a different name due to TEA course codes. See the chart below for examples.

  • Are you offering Academic Math?
    • No, Academic and Advanced Math will be combined and listed as Advanced Math.
  • Why do I have Functional Fitness and PE?
    • Functional Fitness is paired with PE. You will have one the first semester and the other the second semester. Both are required for 6th graders.
  1. Why do I have two Band classes?  The top 2 Band classes will be blocked. Contact the Band Directors for more information.
  2. Do I need to buy a PE uniform? The PE coach will provide more information at the beginning of the semester.
